Founder, CEO, & Board Member

Raymond is currently a sophomore at Stanford University. Outside of Origami, Raymond enjoys playing golf and piano.

Karthik is currently a sophomore at Stanford University. Outside of Origami, he enjoys playing both tennis and ping pong, as well as playing with his young neighbors.

Lead of Instruction

Tanushree is currently a senior at duPont Manual High School in Louisville, Kentucky. Outside of origami, she enjoys drawing, baking, and 3D modeling. The crane is her favorite origami figure.

Wendy is the Executive Director of OrigamiUSA (origamiusa.org), the largest non-profit organization devoted to origami in the world.

Shiv Gaur

Shiv Gaur is a teacher trainer/mentor in Kazhakstan and is a firm believer in the constructivist approach– the kind of teaching that allows every student to have a voice in creating understanding. His areas of interest in teaching are Mathematics, Theory Of Knowledge, Business Studies and Economics.

Bhargavi Mulpuru

Bhargavi is the owner of A Grade Ahead Louisville and has always been passionate about advancing education for children. Over the years, Bhargavi has been involved in various educational based programs, such as the North South Foundation and Math Kangaroo.

Susan Arterburn

Susan is an owner at Huntington Learning Center, providing educational services to children in the Louisville community. She is passionate about helping kids learn and reach their full potential.

Xinke Guo-Xue

Xinke Guo-Xue is a private math tutor from Birmingham, Alabama and recent graduate from MIT. He also works as an instructor for the Art of Problem Solving (AOPS). In his free time, he likes to play piano, sing, and self-study more mathematics.

Eric Purvis is the Math department chair at duPont Manual High School as well as the cosponsor of the Manual Math National Honor Society. He has been interested in the mathematics of origami for many years now.

Zhengli Wan

Zhengli Wan is currently the president of the Kentuckiana Chinese School, a 501(c)(3) organization and the leading and prominent center for Chinese culture, education, and social activities in Louisville and Southern Indiana. Zhengli is passionate about providing education to students of all backgrounds.

Outside of the main team, there are many other student and professional chapter coordinators nationwide helping to spread our impact through the  Origami for Education chapters
